You will be missed my friend. Now you’ve reminded me to go clean out my storage lockers at Wordpress 🤭. It’s high time. Talk soon. Don’t be a stranger now.
Interesting. I have a Wordpress blog but it has mostly other writing on it. I wanted to use Substack to test out family history storytelling and take part in challenges, forcing me to write more regularly. I consider the stories here as first drafts to be returned to, rewritten and then published on Wordpress. But Substack kept me so busy, I neglected all other writing. So you've made me think...
Wordpress compared to Substack is definitely a challenge. I have a found a great community here on Substack and I enjoy their writing and appreciate their reading my work and their comments. However Wordpress is better for curating my posts into a whole as opposed to one of pieces, that is I have index pages so people can find other posts I have written about the family. Wordpress has also been better at attracting cousins.

I wish you good luck with the change.
