I have some Hales in my tree, too, and I checked to see if I had any overlap with yours (nope). They're a tough line once you go back to the mid-1800s. If I find that book that does the heavy lifting I'll let you know! lol
I remember that my Grandpa Bob told me his grandmother's maiden name was Hale, "So I guess we're descended from Nathan Hale." I told people that for years before I realized Nathan Hale died at 21 and did not have any children for us to descend from. :)
